Stussy x Nike Join Forces on a "Black/Green" Air Max Penny 2
Following up on the “Triple Black” pair.
Stussy and Nike are continuing their footwear partnership. Following up on recent releases such as the Air Max 2015, Air Force 1 Mid and Air Huarache LE, the duo is now gearing for a new drop featuring the Air Max Penny 2.
The silhouette, which previously surfaced in a “Triple Black” colorway, now seems to be arriving in an additional “Black/Green” makeup. The kicks come with a black base across the upper and soles, with Stussy’s signature graffiti logo stamped onto the laterals. For contrast, a green hue is splashed onto the suede overlays on the upper part of the shoe, accompanied by all-black tongues. The sneakers are complete with a Nike Air-branded footbed in the same striking color, while the logo additionally appears on the heel. A hint of red peeps through the Air unit on the heel.
The upcoming release joins Stussy’s lineup of coveted collaborations. Most recently, the Californian brand joined forces with Dries Van Noten on an apparel range while adding its 8 Ball motif to Converse’s classic silhouettes. Meanwhile, Nike is gearing up for an Air Force 1 Low release with AMBUSH.
Take a closer look at the sneakers above. The Stussy x Nike Air Max Penny 2 is expected to release alongside an apparel capsule in the coming months.
