Nike Is Ready to Ring in the "Year of the Rabbit" With New Dunk Low

Here’s your first look at the upcoming pair.

Nike is gearing up for the new year, with images of Lunar New Year-themed sneakers starting to surface online. Adding to the Air Max TW, Dunk High and more, the Swoosh seems to be working on a new Dunk Low for the “Year of the Rabbit.”

Early images captured by sneaker insider @woganwodeyang feature the silhouette in a colorful makeup. The kicks arrive with a neutral suede base on the upper, which is contrasted with bold blue and red overlays throughout. A golden rabbit motif is found at the heel, while a “兔” (rabbit in Chinese) branding is added to the tongue in gold. The design further highlights the new year with “2023” embossed onto the golden dubrae, while fuzzy chenille material is added to the tongue and Swoosh for rabbit-inspired details.

Lunar New Year has been a staple for Nike’s yearly releases, with the Year of the Tiger including themed kicks such as the ZoomX Vaporfly, Blazer Mid and Air Force 1, just to name a few.

Take a closer look at the upcoming sneakers above. The Nike Dunk Low “Year of the Rabbit” is expected to release in the coming months, closer to the new year.
