Sydney Sweeney Has a Crush on Dakota Johnson
The actor gushes over her newest co-star.
Sydney Sweeney apparently has the hots for her co-star and it’s not Jacob Elordi. The Euphoria actor was nervous to work with Dakota Johnson on their new upcoming Marvel movie, Madame Web.
On the red carpet for last evening’s LACMA Art + Film event in Los Angeles, Sweeney revealed her long-time crush on the actor, telling Variety‘s Marc Malkin, “I was a little nervous. I have to say — I snuck into 50 Shades of Grey in high school. My parents didn’t let me watch it and I watched it. So I’m a huge fan of her. She’s so hot.” Sweeney stunned in a gorgeous bubblegum pink gown, complete with voluminous, frothy sleeves, wearing her golden tresses in a slicked back bun to keep all eyes on her ensemble.
While Johnson is starring in the film’s titular role as Cassandra “Madame” Web, the White Lotus actor’s character is a mystery. The movie is expected to arrive in theaters in February 2024. Sweeney is one busy gal as the blonde bombshell has been linked to yet another Sony feature — Barbarella, reprising Jane Fonda‘s role in the original 1968 classic. Currently, the film is in its early stages of development as it has no director or writer presently attached, though Sweeney is executive producing.
According to Sweeney, shooting for the space opera will take place after Euphoria‘s third season is finished filming.
