A-COLD-WALL* x Dr. Martens Continue Collab With 1461, 1460 Shoes

A-COLD-WALL* and Dr. Martens are continuing their ongoing partnership with a new footwear release for the Fall/Winter 2022 season.
The duo, who first joined forces in 2020, have now reworked the 1461 shoe and 1460 boot with a minimalist look. Building on previous seasons, Samuel Ross has dressed the 1461 shoe in all-black and monochrome white, while giving the 1460 boot an all-white treatment. All three styles are highlighted with zip fastening in replacement of Dr. Martens’ usual lacing system, with ACW’s branding subtly appearing on the zipper and laterals.
Additional design elements include gunmetal rivets while tonal topstitching is used throughout. Dr. Martens’ iconic yellow welt stitch adds a touch of color as well as the black-and-yellow AirWair heel loop.
Prior to the FW22 collaboration, A-COLD-WALL* and Dr. Martens released “Graphite” 1461s in addition to a black 1461 shoe, which featured clear outsoles.
Take a closer look at the designs via the gallery above. The A-COLD-WALL* x Dr. Martens FW22 collaboration will release on December 12 via the fashion brand’s online store and the footwear brand’s website in addition to select retailers.
Elsewhere in footwear, Timberland and Supreme have joined forces on woven leather boat shoes.
