A-COLD-WALL* x Dr. Martens Shatter Class Boundaries With 1460 Remastered Collab
Inspired by the British social climate and youth culture.
For its latest team-up, Dr. Martens has tapped A-COLD-WALL* to rework the classic 1460 Remastered. The collaborative silhouette boasts traditional British elements of architectural tailoring and workwear.
The boot‘s minimal look features sharp, deconstructed details, along with Samuel Ross‘ tailored approach to working-class attire. Instead of the traditional eyelets, an extra side zip has been added to the pair. Rounding out the design is the dual-branded silicone zip pull and A-COLD-WALL*-debossed heel. “Celebrating the structural form of an icon, this collaboration explores new construction and pattern techniques. Samuel Ross is a master of the art of refinement. Here he’s refined the 1460 through his creative lens,” said Darren McKoy, Dr. Martens’ Global Footwear Director.
