Kim Kardashian Shares the One Social Media Rule She Has for Daughter North West
The reality star and the 9-year-old share a TikTok account.
Kim Kardashian is a cool mom, so she lets her eldest daughter, North West, use social media, specifically TikTok. However, she has a very specific rule the 9-year-old must follow.
“I think every family is different, even within my family,” Kardashian said during a recent appearance on Gwyneth Paltrow‘s Goop podcast. “How Kourtney [Kardashian] operates, how Khloé [Kardashian] operates, how Kylie [Jenner] — we always say every family is different. With social media, it is hard because all the cousins, all my nieces and nephews, they’re all best friends with my kids. They’re all the same ages. So if Penelope [Disick] has a TikTok, North wants a TikTok, and all the girls at school have a TikTok.”
The mom-of-four then went on to explain that the rule is something she and ex Ye aka Kanye West compromised on. “However, I have made a rule with their dad about it — he’s not happy about that. I respect that,” she continued. “But it can only be on my phone. It’s not something where she can scroll and look at things. We don’t do comments.”
Basically, North is only allowed to post on TikTok when Kim is around, which makes sense considering the TikTok name is literally @kimandnorth.
