Miley Cyrus Updates the '00s Emo Deep Side-Part

Miley Cyrus is in her emo hairstyle era, which means the music (hopefully releasing soon) is about to be fire.
Cyrus came to Instagram to rock a deep side-parted, half-face look that is muted blonde on top with dark brunette underneath, creating the perfect hair PB&J. This is how I wish the hairstyle would’ve translated in 2007 when we were all in our Paramore and Good Charlotte feels. For those wanting to try their hands at home, the lewk is extremely easy to recreate. Take a fine-toothed comb and wide part of your hair to the side of your face, sweeping your face-framing strands over your eye and go crazy with the hairspray.
The extra cherry on top of Cyrus’s post is that she revealed in her Instagram caption that she and her godmother Dolly Parton will cohost a New Year’s Eve party. Two icons, one stage — such a gift.
