Bad Bunny Announces He's Taking a Break in 2023
“You’ve worked your ass off,” he tells himself.
The last few years, it seems like Bad Bunny has been working nonstop. However, he’s ready to take it easy next year.
“I’m taking a break,” he told Billboard in a new interview. “2023 is for me, for my physical health, my emotional health to breathe, enjoy my achievements. We’re going to celebrate. Let’s go here, let’s go there, let’s go on the boat. I have a couple of sporadic commitments, and I’ll go to the studio, but there’s no pressure. Remember yourself, cabrón. You’ve worked your ass off.”
He also revealed he takes things as they come. Bad Bunny added, “I’m at a point where, no matter what happens, I’m not looking for anything to happen. For example, I wasn’t looking for a collab with Drake. It was very spontaneous. Now it’s different. Now everybody — the biggest artist you can think of — wants to collaborate with me.”
2022 has been an eventful, record-breaking year for the Puerto Rican artist, who released his latest album, Un Verano Sin Ti, in May. Already, 2023 is expected to be an exciting year for Bad Bunny, who received various Grammy nods, including Album of the Year. As a result, he’s the first artist to have an all-Spanish-language album nominated in that category, making history.
