Vanessa Hudgens' Scorpion Queen Updo Is Goth-Glam Excellence

2022 has served garage-glam goth elegance on all beauty fronts for hair, makeup and nails. As Jenna Ortega‘s makeup in Wednesday is currently trending, we have Vanessa Hudgens keeping up the spirit with a complex, braided/twisted updo that serves dark sartorial elegance.
Los Angeles-based hairstylist Sami Knight styled Hudgens’ jet-black tresses into plaits going up into a ballet-esque bun fanning out like extensions of Medusa herself. Each end of the plaits were curled and gelled into a scorpion-like fan out. Knight topped the final result with a faux wet look that adds mega shine to the entire style. Makeup artist Allan Face gave the star punk-chic glam with an intensely contoured face giving off eagle cheekbones and sultry siren black-lined eyes.
