Kim Kardashian to Launch Skincare Line This Spring
With support from global beauty giant, Coty Inc.
Kim Kardashian has plans to add another category to her empire, on top of her shapewear brand SKIMS and perfume label KKW Fragrance. Her KKW Beauty business, in which Coty Inc. acquired a 20% stake in a $200 million USD deal, is gearing for a relaunch with a new skincare line. Business of Fashion reports that the line will be revealed between April and June 30.
The skincare brand has been underway ever since Coty’s acquisition. It’s worth noting that Kardashian has previously filed to trademark “SKKN by Kim.” In August 2021, the reality star-turned-entrepreneur announced that she would pause KKW Beauty for a “completely new brand with new formulas that are more modern, innovative and packaged in an elevated and sustainable new look.”
Coty’s chief executive Sue Y. Nabi told BoF: “We are focusing on skincare. We really wanted to create something disruptive and top-notch in terms of quality and ingredients. So we are focusing on making this a huge success and then we will see for the other categories later.”
