Billie Eilish and Beyoncé Have Been Nominated for the 2022 Oscars
The award-winning singers are competing for Best Original Song.
The nominees for this year’s Oscars have just been announced, and while most of us were expecting to see names like Kristen Stewart and Will Smith on the list, singers Billie Eilish and Beyoncé are also in line to win the prestigious award as well.
Thanks to the Best Original Song category, Eilish and Beyoncé have both been nominated for Oscars. Along with her brother and go-to songwriting partner Finneas Eilish, the Coachella 2022 headliner, created the titular song “No Time To Die,” for the latest James Bond movie. While Beyoncé can also add “actor” to her resume, thanks to her performances as the legendary singer Etta James in Cadillac Records, and in the much-loved musical Dream Girls, it was the singer’s track “Be Alive” in the film King Richard that landed her an Oscar nomination. It’s safe to say the award is in the hands of two talented queens.
