The Latest Nike Air Force 1 Comes With a Detachable Carabiner
Preview the outdoor-inspired model.
Since its 1985 debut, the Nike Air Force 1 has served as a canvas for highly coveted models including the the 2006 Air Force 1 “Entourage” and 2001 “Cocoa Snake.”
Following recently revealed hemp-covered iterations and the monogrammed Louis Vuitton collaboration, a new AF1 has been revealed courtesy of Nike Design Director, Jessica Washick.
Presumably inspired by the great outdoors, the sneaker boasts a removable Swoosh-shaped carabiner. Bungee cord detail wraps the clip, allowing the wearer to add additional items to the design. The tongue houses a zippered stash pocket in a black textile, while additional hits of black land on the Swoosh, heel tab and insole. An orange dubrae serves as a finishing touch to the outdoorsy aesthetic.
While no official launch date has been announced, we expect to see a release in the coming weeks via Nike and SNKRS.
