Kobe Bryant's Estate To Join the Metaverse

Kobe Inc., Kobe Bryant‘s company now controlled by his estate, is set to enter the metaverse.
According to reports, three trademarks — “Kobe Bryant,” “Mamba Forever” and “Mambacita” — were filed on January 28 with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. The words will be used for virtual and digital content such as art, avatars and collectible coins. The trademark will also include “virtual and digital interactive representations of Kobe Bryant for use in virtual experiences and the metaverse,” as well as NFTs related to the late Gianna Bryant and Lakers player.
