50 Cent makes a surprise appearance.
Hip-hop took over Pepsi‘s Super Bowl LVI Halftime Show this year. Led by the one and only Dr. Dre, the show was graced by icons like Snoop Dogg, Eminem, Mary J. Blige, Kendrick Lamar and 50 Cent.
The artists took over the field at Inglewood’s SoFi Stadium and performed on a set showcasing replicas of Tam’s Burgers, Randy’s Donuts and the Compton courthouse. The 14-minute electrifying special highlighted the biggest rap hits of the last 30 years, including “The Next Episode,” “California Love,” “In Da Club,” “Family Affair,” “Alright,” “Lose Yourself” and more. The show concluded with “Still D.R.E.” performed by all six hip-hop pioneers gathered on the same platform.
