Tom Holland Says 1 Spider-Man Had to Wear a Fake Butt in 'No Way Home'
“Everybody is going back out [to the theater] to try to find the fake ass.”
Another fun fact about Spider-Man: No Way Home: one of the actors in the movie had to wear a fake butt on set. In a recent interview, Tom Holland revealed that one of the three Spider-Man actors — himself, Tobey Maguire or Andrew Garfield — had to wear a prosthetic bottom.
The 25-year-old star sat down with Seth Meyers on his Late Night show. “I’ll give you a spoiler. And I’m not gonna tell you who, but one of us has a fake ass in their suit,” he said. “You can figure out that for yourselves.” Meyers responded: “Everybody thinks you’re such a nice guy, but you’re all about ticket sales. ‘Cause now everybody is going back out [to the theater] to try to find the fake ass.” Holland further revealed his reaction to the butt padding. “I remember being on set and being like, ‘Wow! Oh, hang on a minute. No, that’s not real.’”
