Yoon Ahn Teases Forthcoming Nike Collab

Bringing her Y2K aesthetic to another partnership with the Swoosh.

UPDATE (February 16, 2022): Yoon Ahn followed up her previous IG teaser with a full reveal of her Nike Air Adjust Force. The model stays true to the 1996 original, but reduces the height and swaps the OG two-tone FitWraps for with an elevated gradient.

The midfoot strap gets a minimalist rework, opting for a brandless motif as opposed to the original’s bodacious “NIKE” branding.

ORIGINAL STORY: (February 16, 2022): AMBUSH designer and Dior Homme Director of Jewelry Yoon Ahn posted a fit pic on IG wearing what appears to be her next Nike collaboration.

The sneaker sports a ’90s-inspired chunky build and a nearly “triple black” color scheme. Pops of color come by way of a white mini Swoosh at the toe and a gradient of purple hues on the lateral panel.

There’s a chance this could be Yoon’s Nike Air Adjust Force teased back in November. Released in 1996, the basketball silhouette featured interchangeable FitWrap straps in collegiate colorways for a customizable look. Yoon’s version will feature recycled materials, as previewed in an IG post posted in September.

No official release information has been announced, stay tuned for updates.

In other footwear news, the Nike Dunk High returns in “Dark Powder Blue.”
