'Avatar 2' Trailer Might Debut Before 'Doctor Strange 2' Premiere

Fans might be able to take a first look at the sequel this coming May.

Disney will reportedly debut the trailer for Avatar 2 before the screening of Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.

According to reports, viewers will be given a first look at the sequel before the Marvel film commences in theaters. The decision is rumored to be based on the potential success of Doctor Strange 2 — which follows Marvel’s third-biggest blockbuster, Spider-Man: No Way Home – and Disney plans to gain as much attention on James Cameron‘s upcoming film.

Avatar 2‘s plot has not been revealed yet. However, fans can expect to see main characters Jake Sully (played by Sam Worthington) and Neytiri (played by Zoe Saldana) in the sequel.

Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness will release on May 6, while Avatar 2 will premiere on December 16.
