Avril Lavigne Wants Kristen Stewart To Play Her in a Biopic
The “Sk8r Boi” described the actor to be “dope.”
Avril Lavigne knows who she wants to play her if she were to have her own biopic.
The musician, who attended the iHeartRadio Music Awards on Tuesday, was asked the question to which she responded: “Like Kristen Stewart would be cool to play me in a film.” She added that the actor is “dope.”
Although there are no confirmed plans of a biopic on Lavigne, the musician did share last year that she will be releasing a movie based on her iconic single, “Sk8r Boi.” The track, first released in 2002, celebrates its 20th anniversary this year. “A lot of people have been asking me to play this song on some TV shows, so it keeps getting brought back up and people will always reference it to me. And so, I’m actually going to turn this song into a film…and take it to the next level,” she said on iHeart Radio’s She Is The Voice podcast.
