Beyoncé Kicks off the 2022 Oscars With "Be Alive" Performance

With a special appearance from her daughter, Blue Ivy.

Beyoncé opened the 94th Academy Awards with an exhilarating pre-taped performance.

The number was filmed on the tennis courts of Compton, California where Venus and Serena Williams played as kids, which serves as a tribute to the athletes’ biopic King Richard. Queen B delivered her Oscar-nominated song “Be Alive” from the aforementioned film dressed in a tennis-ball green and yellow fit. The artist’s daughter, Blue Ivy, also made an appearance in the visual, wearing sleek shades in the front surrounded by Beyoncé’s backup dancers and musicians.
