‘Dune’ took home six titles, while Ariana DeBose became the first queer Black woman to win Best Supporting Actress.

The 94th Academy Awards, also known as film’s biggest night, took place at the Dolby Theater in Hollywood. Hosted by Wanda Sykes, Amy Schumer and Regina Hall, the Oscars saw performances from Beyoncé, Billie Eilish and Finneas, as well as Reba McEntire and Sebastián Yatra.

Dune took home six titles, including Best Cinematography and Best Film Editing. Meanwhile, Ariana DeBose and Troy Kotsur made history in the Best Supporting categories. DeBose of West Side Story became the first queer Black woman to win Best Supporting Actress, while Kotsur became the first deaf man to land an Academy Award for acting.
