The New Balance 2002R Protection Pack Expands With 5 New Colorways
Arriving in classic navy and gray hues alongside pink and purple shades.
August 2021 saw the release of the New Balance 2002R Protection Pack “Rain Cloud.” The colorway started a frenzy, reselling now for three times its retail price. Wisely, New Balance is building on the “Rain Cloud’s” hype, adding more colorways to the mix.
Official images of magenta and lavender iterations have recently surfaced, both implementing a mesh, leather and suede upper atop NB’s classic Abzorb midsole.
European retailer AFEW teased “Dark Navy,” “Mirage Grey” and “Vintage Orange” 2002R’s, all of which are set to release April 1 for €150 (approx. $165 USD). A stateside release date has not been confirmed, but we expect the pairs to drop in the subsequent weeks.
