With Chanel and Miu Miu showcasing their latest collections, Fashion Month for the Fall/Winter 2022 season has officially come to a close. Looking back at the past weeks in New York, London, Milan and Paris, we’ve rounded up some of the most talked-about moments of the month.

It was no surprise that the Euphoria cast sat front row at multiple big shows, showing off their impressive looks. Maude Apatow and Angus Cloud shared a Fexi moment at a Thom Browne event, while Zendaya arrived at Valentino in all-pink. Meanwhile, Rihanna embraced her baby bump in stunning maternity looks at Gucci, Dior and more. In Paris, Demna Gvasalia showcased a snowy presentation for Balenciaga to which Kim Kardashian wore an eye-catching fit wrapped entirely in yellow caution tape.

PARIS FASHION WEEK

Cindy Crawford and Kaia Gerber shared a mother-daughter runway moment at Off-White™.

Off-White™ invited friends of Virgil Abloh to celebrate the late designer through its new collection. The runway featured a star-studded cast, including Cindy Crawford and Kaia Gerber who shared a mother-daughter moment on stage.

The Euphoria cast took over Saint Laurent‘s front row.

Maude Apatow, Jacob Elordi and Dominic Fike, who play Lexi, Nate and Elliot in Euphoria, dressed to impress as they sat front row at Anthony Vaccarello‘s Saint Laurent show. Zendaya always understands the assignment when it comes to getting dressed for red carpet or fashion show appearances. This season at Valentino, the Euphoria and Spider-Man star arrived in head-to-toe pink, with floral motifs adorning her pants. She completed her look with overlined lips and smokey eyes.

MILAN FASHION WEEK

Protestors drew attention to the Ukraine-Russia conflict.

As Russia began its full-scale invasion of Ukraine on February 24, the internet began criticizing fashion brands for continuing to show collections while refugees were fleeing the country. “More important things in the world are happening right now,” one social media user wrote. To draw more attention to the conflict, protestors took the streets of Milan with signs that read “Stand With Ukraine” and “No World War III.”

After denying rumors of a collaboration, Gucci unveiled an expansive range in partnership with adidas. The two brands combined their signature styles together, with the Trefoil branding appearing on suits and Gucci’s logo found on sneakers like the Gazelle.

Gigi and Bella Hadid bleached their brows for Versace.

The Hadid sisters went for ’90s-inspired looks on the Versace runway. Both took the stage in bold red fits with matching latex tights. They accompanied the looks with bleached eyebrows along with smokey eyes, while the rest of their faces were kept natural.

Kendall Jenner revealed her newly-dyed red hair at Prada.

Kendall Jenner made her runway comeback at Prada, showing off her newly-dyed red hair in a sleek, slicked-back hairdo by Guido Palau. The 26-year-old paired a navy blue bomber jacket and sheer skirt for her runway outfit.

Jacquemus opened its second 24/24 pop-up.

Following the buzzy pink pop-up that opened in Paris, Jacquemus launched its second 24/24 space in Milan. This time around, the store was entirely dressed in white, housing a vending machine-themed wall revealing the brand’s new La Vague bag.

LONDON FASHION WEEK

Chloe Cherry turned heads at shows including Chet Lo.

Chloe Cherry quickly became an industry favorite this season, turning heads in multiple cities this Fashion Month. In addition to walking for labels such as Blumarine, the Euphoria star attended as a front row guest at presentations by rising names like Chet Lo.

LCF graduate Dirk Vaessen‘s wooden shoe collection became the most-viewed LFW moment on TikTok.

At London College of Fashion’s master of arts graduate show, Dirk Vaessen showcased unconventional wooden shoe designs that quickly went viral. “The shoes are not there for being shoes, but more like a tool that changes your posture. It was based on the concept of form follows function. So I took away all the unnecessary things in the shoes,” the designer explained to WWD. “This collection for me was a very interesting new process. I used completely different techniques with milling, laser cutting and water jet cutting. That’s why they look so abstract.”

NEW YORK FASHION WEEK

Almost immediately after her breakup with Kanye West, Julia Fox made her runway debut at LaQuan Smith. The actor opened the show in a sexy cut-out dress, which was accentuated with bold silver accessories.

Telfar announced that it would drop a brand new handbag silhouette during its presentation at NYFW. Dubbed the Round Circle Bag, the style comes in a circular shape, featuring Telfar Clemens’ embossed TC branding. Fans were surprised to learn that the bag was priced at $567 USD, which is higher than its other handbags that are known and loved for their affordable price tags.

Angus Cloud and Maude Apatow share a Fexi moment in matching Thom Browne.

Angus Cloud and Maude Apatow made their NYFW debut as Fexi at an event celebrating Thom Browne’s signature tartan design. The pair arrived in matching outfits, with Cloud wearing a suit and Apatow opting for a pleated skirt with matching tights.

An AI designed its own fashion collection.

Fashion Month season saw a slew of designers tapping into all things virtual and metaverse. In particular, Korean label Greedilous partnered with LG’s artificial intelligence (AI) Tilda for a co-designed collection. Titled “Flowers on Venus,” the range featured illustrations and patterns designed by Tilda based on learned data.
