Nike Celebrates the 40th Anniversary of the Air Force 1 With Vintage-Inspired Model
Inspired by the 1982 originals.
2022 marks the 40th anniversary of the Nike Air Force 1 and naturally The Swoosh is honoring the occasion with a rollout of special edition models.
Earlier this month, images of a limited edition pair in white and brown began to circulate. The forthcoming release comes equipped with a Nike branded toothbrush to keep the shoe looking fresh.
Adding to the lineup is a newly revealed Nike Air Force 1 High Vintage silhouette in a “Sail” colorway. The off-white hue dominates the upper, covering the leather base, midsole and ankle strap. Textural contrast comes by way of mesh midfoot panels, while a “Medium Grey” hue lands on the Swooshes and midsole.
Look out for the Nike Air Force 1 High Vintage “Sail” to release during the spring months for $130 USD.
