After Strawberry Blonde, Sunset Blonde Is Becoming the New Hair Color Fad

Maude Apatow test drives the reddish shade.

With Sydney Sweeny recently debuting her strawberry blonde look, hairstylists have gone into the color lab and pulled out a sister shade that’s perfect for the warmer months: sunset blonde, a hybrid mix of rosy and mahogany blonde-reds.

On Instagram, Euphoria star Maude Apatow showed off this spring-ready hair color, rocking the earthy shade with a gold hair clip and a ’60s-style hair flip, crafted by stylist Jenna Perry. We wouldn’t be surprised to see Apatow go the route of her costar Barbie Ferreira soon, opting for a fiery and warmer dye.

No matter your current hair color, lightening or deepening your hair to meet the sunset blonde shade should be fairly simple, as this color can be achieved easily and suits all hues of skin tones. Pro tip: When speaking with a hair color professional, always bring a reference photo for your stylist.

Check out images of Apatow below for more sunset blonde inspiration.
