Kylie Jenner Shares a Message for Postpartum Moms: "It's OK to Not Be OK"
Also admitting her experience “hasn’t been easy.”
Kylie Jenner got real about the struggles she’s facing in her postpartum journey a little over a month after giving birth to her son, Wolf Webster.
“I just want to say to my postpartum moms, postpartum has not been easy,” Jenner said in an Instagram Story. “This experience for me, personally, has been a little harder than with my daughter.” Jenner and boyfriend Travis Scott welcomed their baby boy on February 2, 2022 — exactly four years and one day after their daughter, Stormi Webster, was born.
Jenner then reassured other mothers they’re not alone. The Kylie Cosmetics founder continued, “I didn’t want to just get back to life without saying that because I think we can look on the internet and you know, for other mom’s going through it right now, it might look a lot easier for other people and like put the pressure on us. But it hasn’t been easy on me either. It’s been hard and I just wanted to say that.”
“It’s OK not to be OK,” Jenner added. “Once I realized that … I was putting some pressure on myself and I just keep reminding myself, ‘I made a whole human, a beautiful healthy boy’ and we have to stop putting pressure to be back, not even psychically, just mentally after birth.”
