Thibo Denis Shares Closer Look at ERL x Dior Spring 2023 Footwear
Skate-inspired kicks donning the house’s iconic motifs.
Footwear designer Thibo Denis has taken to Instagram to share a closer look at the sneakers on Eli Russell Linnetz and Kim Jones‘ Dior Men Spring 2023 runway that took place tonight in Venice Beach.
Described as “California Couture,” the collection featured looks co-created by the ERL founder, who served as the guest designer for the show. The footwear range included chunky skateboard silhouettes in a magenta colorway, with Dior’s Oblique pattern applied to the thick shoelaces. The upper of the shoe received the fashion house’s iconic Cannage treatment all over, maintaining a tonal look with the same shade on the midsole, tongue and more. The silhouette also appeared in a light blue iteration, with slightly dark tones on the topstitch details for contrast.
Elsewhere, the sneaker lineup highlights a gray and beige design donning suede overlays on the upper. The house’s recognizable motifs such as the Oblique peek through the laterals. The silhouette is offered in chocolate brown, mauve and khaki green.
