Kanye West Reveals His Reimagined McDonald's Packaging Design
A minimalist take created in partnership with MUJI industrial designer Naoto Fukasawa.
Kanye West is venturing into the food and beverage category, announcing a new partnership with McDonald’s that involves a reimagined packaging design. The collaboration follows the duo’s team-up for the Super Bowl.
For this project, the creative joined forces with MUJI industrial designer Naoto Fukasawa. As seen on the musician’s Instagram, the new packaging arrives in the shape of a box, with the fast-food chain’s signature logo printed on top. The ingredients of McDonald’s burger peep through what looks like paper packaging. On his Instagram Stories, Ye wrote: “Next week it’s the fries,” referencing the lyrics from his track “Gold Digger.”
