My Chemical Romance Returns With New Single After 8 Years
The quintet is set to embark on their reunion tour this week.
My Chemical Romance has returned to the music scene with a brand new single titled “The Foundations of Decay.”
Produced by lead singer Gerard Way, lead guitarist Ray Toro and Doug McKean, the six-minute track features Way’s signature intriguing vocals and Toro’s electrifying guitar riffs. In addition to the band’s new release, the group is set to head off for their reunion tour in North America and Europe. The tour will commence on May 16 in the U.K., followed by dates in Los Angeles in October.
In 2013, the quintet disbanded and worked on their final song, “Fake Your Death,” in 2014. Three years ago, the five musicians reunited “for a series of one-off reunion shows,” as per Variety.
