Altuzarra's "Genderful" Line ALTU Drops Second Collection
Featuring a version of the knit dress that Troye Sivan wore to the 2021 Met Gala.
ALTU, Joseph Altuzarra‘s genderfluid line that launched in late 2021, is back with a second collection.
The label, which brands itself as “genderful,” continues to challenge stereotypes and breaks barriers through garments designed with inspiration from teenage nostalgia. Arriving in two drops, the release is all about encouraging the “trying on” of identities, just like we do with clothing.
Designs include a leather “shacket” with matching trousers, cropped hoodies, mid-thigh skirts, cropped varsity tees and slip dresses. With inclusivity in mind, the full collection is offered in a wider range of sizes. Standing out from the lineup is the knit cutout dress — worn by Troye Sivan to the 2021 Met Gala — that is revamped in a long-sleeved version.
