Olivia Rodrigo Performs "Complicated" With Avril Lavigne at Toronto Concert
The pop-rock artists deliver a major throwback on stage.
Olivia Rodrigo performed at Toronto’s Massey Hall on April 29 as part of her SOUR world tour.
During the event, Rodrigo brought out a very special guest who her Canadian fans were over the moon about. ”She’s from Canada,” the 19-year-old singer said in her introduction as the crowd went wild. “[She] broke down so many barriers, and opened so many doors for girls like me. I’m so, so, so lucky because she came here tonight to sing with me. Please give it up for Avril Lavigne.” The pop-rock princess walked on stage in a black leather jacket and red plaid mini skirt to match Rodrigo’s blue iteration. “Alright, this is a song called ‘Complicated,’” Rodrigo announced, a track part of Lavigne’s 2002 debut album Let Go.
“Jumped up to sing ‘Complicated’ on stage with @oliviarodrigo in Toronto tonight. It was very sweet to perform with you tonight on your SOUR tour,” Lavigne shared on Instagram. “Have an incredible tour gurl. Keep killing it. Sending you so much love.”
