Official Images of the Jacquemus x Nike Air Humara Are Here
The collaborative kicks are set to drop alongside a 15-piece apparel collection.
Earlier this week, Simon Porte Jacquemus teased his first-ever Nike collaboration. Now, the Swoosh has unveiled official images of the upcoming silhouette.
“I have always been inspired by vintage ACG pieces and Nike campaigns from the ’90s. Having this imagery in mind, we designed women’s athletic wear with sensuous details and neutral colors, along with my own interpretation of the Humara, my favorite Nike shoe,” the French designer said in a statement. “It was important for the collection to be accessible for all bodies, and to be a natural blend of Jacquemus style and Nike performance.”
Dubbed the Air Humara, the sneaker arrives in two neutral colorways: cream/beige and chocolate brown. The upper of both iterations are crafted from smooth leather and suede, while the lateral comes with metallic gold mini Swooshes. Elsewhere, Jacquemus branding can be found on the tongues, heels, insoles and outsoles. The footwear style is rounded off with matching rugged trail-ready sole units.
