Zayn Malik Takes a Trip Down Memory Lane by Singing One Direction's "You & I"

Zayn Malik‘s last musical effort was his 2021 album Nobody Is Listening. After a small hiatus, the artist posted a snippet of him singing a One Direction 2013 track, “You & I.”
The black-and-white video features the singer belting out the highest note of the song in his home. “I feel so happy and proud to see him healthy. @zaynmalik broke the entire internet just by claiming his single high note,” one fan tweeted. “‘Zayn Malik broke twitter,’ yea well he broke me too,” another one said.
This is the first time the artist has acknowledged the band since leaving the group in 2015. Back in 2020, the artist decided to not recognize the group’s 10-year anniversary, leaving fans disappointed.
Having recreated his signature high note, fans are hoping this is a sign that 1D might have a reunion sometime soon.
