‘Riverdale’ Star Camila Mendes Joins Loops Beauty as Partner and Creative Director
The brand taps Mendes to usher in the next phase of growth.
Loops Beauty has tapped actor Camila Mendes as a partner and creative director. As Mendes’ first official entry into the beauty market, the role will consist of her spearheading innovative product development and driving brand growth inclusive of all upcoming initiatives and retail expansion.
“I’m really thrilled to join Loops and bring the brand into its next phase. I’ve been using the brand’s face masks for a while now and have always been a fan, so to be a part of its development in this way is a dream,” said Mendes in a press release. “I’ve been taking on a lot of new roles in my career recently and my skincare routine is where I can really reset from the day and nourish myself. Loops helps me maintain that routine in the most effective way possible, so I’m excited to be able to help grow a brand that really is so authentic to my everyday life.”
The collaboration also launches Loops Beauty into a brick-and-mortar retail partnership with Ulta Beauty. Starting August 1, the brand will be available nationally across 450 stores alongside a campaign featuring Mendes running in-store and across various social media channels.
