Fat Joe Reveals colette x Air Jordan 1 High Sample

Early aughts rap icon Fat Joe set Instagram on fire when he shared a video of a one-of-its-kind, never-before-seen colette x Air Jordan 1 High sample. Outfitted in a “Sport Royal” colorway, the sneaker bears a mainly monochromatic aesthetic with a playful “Merci!” embroidered at the heels. Suede and leather uppers add a touch of texture, while the white leather Swooshes and colette tongue tags provide extra detailing. White midsoles paired with contrasting blue rubber outsoles complete the design.
The shoe is rumored to be an alternate design for the Friends & Family colette x Jordan 1 Retro High initially released in 2018. The extremely limited and exclusive sneaker was created to signify the Parisian boutique’s closure and is now priced at over $55,000 USD on the resale market.
