Buzzy K-Drama 'Extraordinary Attorney Woo' To Be Renewed for Second Season

Possibly arriving in 2024.

Extraordinary Attorney Woo, one of South Korea‘s buzziest TV shows currently available on Netflix, might be renewed for a second season.

Lee Sang-baek, president of production company ASTORY, said in a recent interview: “We want to produce a second season of Extraordinary Attorney Woo. We’re aiming to have the season air some time in 2024.” He added that while there will be challenges of adjusting cast members’ schedules, the company plans to go ahead with the second season with the full original cast and production staff. Meanwhile, the K-drama‘s said in an official statement that the Extraordinary Attorney Woo team is still “in talks” for a second installment.

Starring Park Eun-bin and Kang Tae-oh, Extraordinary Attorney Woo follows the story of a young lawyer with autism spectrum disorder, tackling cases after joining one of the biggest law firms in the country. In addition to being one of the buzziest titles in South Korea, the series is also in talks for a U.S. remake.
