JISOO Takes Salomon's Winter Collection Through the South Korean Landscapes

Starring in the brand’s latest campaign.

JISOO is heading into the great outdoors with Salomon, but not without making a few city stops along the way. For Fall/Winter 2026, the K-pop star fronts “IN THE OPEN,” her first global campaign for the brand since becoming an ambassador earlier this year.

Shot across South Korea, the campaign explores the space between Seoul’s urban landscape and the outdoors, moving through parks, trails and quieter corners of the city. Rain, fog, wind and forest become part of the setting, reflecting Salomon’s approach to winter as a constantly changing environment rather than one fixed landscape.

“I naturally prefer light and comfortable movement in my everyday life,” JISOO shared, highlighting the versatility that drew her to the brand. “I love how versatile Salomon footwear is, making it suitable for both everyday wear and outdoor activities.”

The accompanying capsule brings that same flexibility to three of Salomon’s XT silhouettes. The XT-6 Protective gets a more rugged update with ripstop construction and textured detailing, while the XT-Whisper GORE-TEX introduces weather protection to the lightweight silhouette for the first time. Meanwhile, the XT-4 OG GORE-TEX revisits the archive with trail-running heritage and all-weather functionality.

Blurring the line between city streets and mountain trails, “IN THE OPEN” makes a case for footwear that doesn’t require choosing between the two. The capsule launches globally on October 7 via the Salomon website.
