Wood Wood Drops Collaborative Collection With Artist Tal R. for FW22
In celebration of the label’s 20th anniversary.
Copenhagen-based streetwear label Wood Wood unveils its Fall/Winter 2022 collection with Danish painter Tal R. Created in celebration of the brand’s 20th anniversary, the line is centered around the creative vibrance and collaboration for which the brand is known.
Artist Tal R. envisions the collection to be an exploration of his extensive archive. The label has reworked the creative’s select works, applying them within the collection. The latest range of garments features a Cowi vogel cardigan, an addition in all-over jacquard made from Italian yarn. Its array of workwear-inspired denim is touted as a pivotal element of the collection, offering standout pieces such as the relaxed-fit boilersuit and a two-piece set that comes with laser-engraved artwork.
Elsewhere, technical accessories and outerwear styles are given contemporary adjustments to align with the capsule. A noteworthy design includes the Quilo eco-tech jacket, a seasonal menswear piece that is constructed in Japanese ripstop fabric and the Helena jacket, which comes in a dark-brown shearling leather.
The FW22 collection is grounded in a color palette of blue, green, black and beige. Tal R.’s artistic prints also make an appearance in select ensembles.
