Lil Nas X Eats the Runway up for NYFW With Chest-Length Braids

From old town roads to New York Fashion Week runways.

2,402 Hypes

After becoming the face of YSL Beauty and as of recently a runway model, Lil Nas X is letting us know he is a force to be reckoned with, not only in his musical artistry but also in fashion and beauty.

On top of his latest appointment with the beauty brand, Lil Nas X also has been inducted as the newest global ambassador for Coach under the creative direction of fashion designer Stuart Vevers. During this season of the Coach’s Spring/Summer 2023 show, the artist hit the catwalk sporting chest-length braids with short baby hairs brushed around the hairline, completed by a buss-down middle part. Hairstylist Coree Moreno curated Lil Nas X’s two face-framing braids, setting him up for success in slaying the runway.

Of course the entire moment wouldn’t be complete without the Grammy-award-winning artist having a gold mix-and-match manicure to match the invisible gold dust he left behind. If you need to see more up and close and personal, check out the look above.
