Take an Early Look at the New Balance 550 and 650 Silhouettes Dropping This Fall
The classic models return in crisp colorways.
While the New Balance 990, 574 and 2002R continue to be the silhouette of choice of NB collaborators, the 550 and 650 carry an understated nostalgia found in very few other sneakers.
This fall, the throwback silhouettes return in an array of versatile shades including collegiate blues and reds, a Triple White makeup and of course — NB’s beloved shades of gray.
The low-top 550s are sure to please sneaker collectors who’ve enjoyed the model’s rise in popularity, but don’t sleep on the 650. If the New York Fashion Week runways are any indicator, bulky high tops will be the shape du jour next season.
