Raf Simons Announces Rescheduled LFW Show Date

Taking place in London next month.

Following a string of cancelled showcases from this season’s London Fashion Week, Raf Simons has just announced that its SS23 show will in fact take place in London next month.

While LFW played host to a number of incredible shows from emerging and established designers, there were more than a few brands who weren’t able to make it to the runway. Whether it was because their showcases fell on the same day as Queen Elizabeth II’s funeral or simply as a mark of respect, names like Raf Simons and Burberry cancelled their LFW appearances with the promise of rescheduled dates.

Burberry’s rescheduled showcase is set to take place today, on September 26, with Raf Simons confirming that the brand’s SS23 showcase will instead take place on October 13, during Frieze week. Simons’ showcase is set to be the first time the designer has shown independently in London. Speaking about the show in a statement, Simons said that “It’s been a dream for a while to show in London – a city where fashion and creativity is omnipresent in the streets, and where I see exceptional people with a strong unique style.”

Stay tuned for more updates. While you’re here, take a look at our roundup of the top trends from LFW.
