Gigi Hadid Is Matthew M. Williams' Muse for Givenchy SS23

Introducing the brand’s new statement bag, the Voyou.

Gigi Hadid stars in Givenchy‘s new Spring/Summer 2023 collection, helmed by Creative Director Matthew M. Williams.

The new campaign, lensed by Heji Shin, features Hadid alongside Selena Forrest and Brazilian model Luna Passos, showcasing the brand’s  most vibrant styles. This season, all eyes are on Givenchy’s newest statement bag, the Voyou, which made its debut at the brand’s SS23 runway last year.

Taking cues from Parisian elegance and American sportswear, the campaign offers a clash between the two identities, reuniting with Shin to showcase Williams’ contemporary vision. ”Heji is an amazing artist with a unique, inspired visual language that she has entrusted us to transpose to fashion,” said Williams in a press release.

Hadid appears in a double-page spread, wearing a ruched, backless dress with matching gloves and the signature Voyou hobo in hand. The model also highlights the brand’s Crossed-Front Leather Brassiere, alongside showcasing the unique bag in two colorways. Elsewhere, the collection shifts focus to its accessories, debuting the Giv-Cut sunglasses, fully 3D-printed in nylon.

Take a look at the campaign above.

In other news, Hadid is booked and busy, also starring in the new BOSS SS23 campaign.
