Gucci's New Après-Ski Collection Features the Humble Moon Boot

The luxury fashion house tapped 8 different brands for its latest “Vault Altitude” capsule.

Gucci just announced an exclusive capsule collection, taking cues from après-ski styling and snow-inspired scapes.

The new collection, dubbed “Vault Altitude,” sees the luxury fashion house partner with 8 eight other brands, including Bleue Burnham x SkyDiamond, Gui Rosa, HEAD Sportswear, Moon Boot, Panconesi, Sea, The Elder Statesman and Yniq Eyewear, for an extensive selection of ready-to-wear, outerwear, footwear and accessories.

Its sporty ready-to-wear offering is developed with HEAD, offering a range of playful ski jackets, pants and puffer vests. Swedish eyewear company, Yniq, provides a range of functional ski goggles in line with the capsule’s vibrant-yet-wearable aesthetic, while Moon Boots provide the ultimate après-ski footwear with a twist.

Elsewhere, the capsule places importance on technical fabrics, working with Sea, The Elder Statesman and Head to perfect weaving techniques and warming knitwear. Rounding out the offering are a selection of jewelry brands, including London-based Bleue Burnham x SkyDiamond and Panconesi, creating cloud-inspired designs and statement pieces featuring neon enamel.

Gucci’s new “Vault Altitude” collection is set for launch on January 9, only available for purchase from the Vault site.
