Kelly Rowland’s Cropped "Church Girl" Bob Is Destiny’s Child Approved

Kelly Rowland is the divine Black Barbie and you can’t tell us anything else about it. Since the late ’90s, the star has been the featured image on many hairstyle boards. Already in 2023, she is still showing us that she’s still very much on top with the reveal of her “Church girl” bob haircut.
Rowland attended the BMF season 2 premiere in Los Angeles looking nothing short of stunning. The singer took to Instagram with a video reel of the glam process and what caught our eye was the haircut. Because Rowland has mastered the art of concealing her hair, we’re not sure if it’s a quickweave style or if she has actually done the big chop — but you can never go wrong with a freshly trimmed bob. The bob was styled in the form of Lori Harvey‘s, who sported this look in late 2022. Bone straight and a bit above the chin, reminiscent of Black girls fresh out of the chair for their Sunday morning service fix. To add the “Kelly” touch, we peeped that she spritzed a few pumps of Henry Rose‘s perfume along her body and we’re sure she caught the tresses too. Trés chic.
