Lily James' Sultry Bombshell Bob Proves that Brunettes Do Have More Fun

Lily James is the latest star to prove that choppy bobs are having a moment in 2023. The Pam & Tommy star debuted her new haircut on the red carpet at last night’s 2023 Golden Globe Awards, complete with a glossy brunette color.
The actor’s red carpet look offered a glamorous ’90s twist on the choppy cut, finished with a delicate curl at the ends and a chic side parting. Hally Brisker, James’ hairstylist, was the person responsible for the dazzling new look and shared a look into his process through Instagram. “Bombshell 90’s silhouette with the help of @greatlengthsusa GL tapes 02 for the added volume in the front to really max out that flick,” Brisker explained in his caption.
James’ bob debut comes not long after Euphoria star Zendaya also showed off a much shorter trim, alongside Wednesday star Jenna Ortega who recently opted for a wolf-like cut and Kelly Rowland, who entered 2023 with a “Church Girl” bob.
