On January 10, Coachella confirmed that BLACKPINK will be headlining Coachella 2023. Comprised of Jennie, Rosé, Lisa and Jisoo, the K-pop group is will headline the show on Day 2 following Bad Bunny on Day 1, while Frank Ocean is confirmed for Day 3.

BLACKPINK is recently kicked off their Asia tour beginning with Bangkok, which will be followed by Hong Kong, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates throughout January. It’s worth noting that following their shows in Kuala Lumpur, Kaohsiung and Manila in March, there is a noticeable gap in April before they start performing again in Singapore on May 13 — which led fans to speculate that the quartet could be headlining Coachella.
