(Update) October 5, 2023: Official images of Nike LeBron 21 “Violet Dust” have arrived, giving us an up close and personal look at the soon-to-be released sneaker. Also known as “Purple Rain,” the colorway nods to LeBron James’ love for Prince. The new detailed look provides a glimpse of the special insole, which depicts a ring-covered hand, referencing the basketball star’s four NBA Championships.
The Nike LeBron 21 “Purple Rain” is expected t4o be released on October 14 via SNKRS and select Nike Basketball stockists for $200 USD.

NBA icon LeBron James has once again stirred up excitement among sneakerheads with a tantalizing preview of his upcoming collaboration with Nike. While Nike Basketball has yet to make an official announcement, James recently treated his followers to another sneak peek, this time showcasing an in-hand image of the “Violet Dust” colorway.
The sneaker boasts a dominant nubuck upper in a regal purple shade, paying homage to the LA Lakers’ iconic colors. Delicate gold embroidery graces the Swooshes on both sides, the tongue and the heel’s geometric pattern. The heel features an iridescent finish, radiating a deep purple hue and infusing a futuristic touch. The Nike LeBron 21, set to debut in the 2023-24 NBA season, is expected to hold more surprises in store.
