Holly Silius Presents ‘Polaroids and Body Prints’ Exhibit

Los Angeles‘ Central Server Works welcomes Polaroids and Body Prints, an online art exhibit by multidisciplinary artist, Holly Silius.
Opening December 2, Silius’ latest exhibit taps her affinity for the feminine form through framed polaroids and body prints. Known for her work with the likes of Tom Ford and Kim Kardashian — cue that iconic breastplate designed by Silius — the British artist is no stranger to high profile artistry.
Featuring Hari Nef, the Polaroids and Body Prints ”elegantly highlights her [Silius'] distinctive celebration of the human form through body painting and sculptural adornments,” the press release stated.
This collection, in particular, offers insight into the artist’s work, “featuring archival painted Polaroid photographs and a series of body prints on canvas, originally exhibited at Tate Britain in 2016. This work is characterised by its use of colour, a profound connection with the human body, and an expression of artistic freedom.”
For those interested in Silius’ “body casts, wearable art and masks,” Central Server Works will release an exhibition of her sculptures, alongside a critical essay focusing “on the role of the body as a conduit for sculpture.”
