Support Female Artists This International Women's Day With Art on a Postcard

An opportunity to own limited-edition artworks by celebrated artists at affordable prices through mini auctions.

Art on a Postcard (AOAP), a not-for-profit collective raising money for The Hepatitis C Trust through art, is hosting its fourth International Women’s Day auction this March. The event will run following an entirely new format for this year, as AOAP has invited female curators Beth Greenacre, Louise Fitzjohn (Liminal Gallery), Bakul Patki, Lee Sharrock, Mollie Barnes (She Curates), Sandra De Giorgi and Carrie Scott to curate a organize a show featuring 20/25 female artists.

Gemma Peppé, Founder and Director of Art on a Postcard, commented: “We are extremely lucky to have this exciting mix of interesting and successful women go to bat for us and create a fascinating and diverse show. The women’s auctions are always a bit rawer and more sensitive. The mixture of established and emerging talent is so engaging in this auction, and it’s been fascinating to see each curator’s choices come to life.”

Each show will run as seven concurrent auctions, all raising money to fund The Hepatitis C Trust’s work with women affected by the criminal justice system in prison and local communities. Bidding for “The Art on a Postcard International Women’s Day” auction starts at just £50 (approximately $56 USD) via The Auction Collective from February 23.
