Jenna Ortega Is Saddened by the Death of the Original Wednesday Addams

Ortega paid tribute to the late star on January 31, posting two black and white images of Lorings as Addams on her Instagram story, writing, “Absolutely devastated. The unconventional family clearly sparked a revolution as the TV show gave way to countless adaptations, including the Netflix series in which Ortega plays the titular role as has even received Golden Globes and Screen Actor Guild nominations.

Loring is survived by two daughters, Marianne and Vanessa, who confirmed her passing with Variety, sharing, “She went peacefully with both her daughters holding her hands.”
