Jennifer Coolidge to Return as Paulette in Forthcoming 'Legally Blonde 3' Film

A Legally Blonde 3 seems to be in the works. Reese Witherspoon previously stated she would be all for starring in a new Legally Blonde film as long as Jennifer Coolidge is on board, too, which she is.
“There is no Legally Blonde 3 without Jennifer Coolidge,” she recently told Entertainment Tonight. Fortunately, Coolidge is interested in reprising her role as Paulette Bonafonté. Once Coolidge heard of Witherspoon’s comments, she weighed in. “Of course, I would be on board. I’ve been hearing about it for a long time,” Coolidge told Extra. “Maybe it really is happening at this point. I would absolutely love to do Legally Blonde 3.”
Legally Blonde 3 was first talked about back in 2018. At the time, it had been announced the film would release sometime in 2020; however, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, that changed.
According to the official MGM Studios website, Legally Blonde 3 could be premiering sometime in 2023 unless the date gets changed again. Stay tuned for more updates on the film.
